You can check out the new Scoobynet project thread here.
“Zen 2009 development
Following on from our build up of the car which as a thread didn’t get finished, I would like to get some further info up on the car showing what we did towards the end of last year when we won Brands Hatch Time Attack and came 3rd overall at TOTB. And then try and get some stuff on line about what we will be developing on the car this year to run a little later on.A few things to wet your appetite while I sort pictures and hosting etc.
Flat floor and diffuser - on the car at Brands, further development in 2009
Suspension development - developed over 2008 and 2009
Dry sump kit - developing full kit for retail due June 2009
Less weight - try and shed up to 70kg over the course of 2009
More power - target 800hp without nitrous
Wider power band - AVCS Cosworth heads and Cosworth cams, Cosworth intake manifold, individual throttles.
Engine tweaks - Cosworth internals to solve a few minor niggles from 2008
Solaris ECU - full lambda control, knock control, datalogging etc
More E85 development - fuel system tweaks. -
Team ZEN opts for Cosworth

ZEN Performance Ltd has developed a very successful business relationship with Cosworth over the last 12 months, choosing to use Cosworth components in the majority of high performance engine builds for customers. Having been hugely impressed with the engineering and reliability of Cosworth connecting rods in the 2007 / 2008 race car engine, for 2009 Team ZEN have made the logical step to using Cosworth components throughout the engine. As development on the 2009 car begins, Team ZEN plan for the short engine to run with Cosworth bearings, pistons and rods. The long engine assembly will be completed with Cosworth CNC ported big valve AVCS cylinder heads running full Cosworth valvetrain and the addition of a Cosworth inlet manifold.
Team ZEN would like to thank Cosworth for their support.
